What editing software do you have now? BTW, it might help if you posted the photo and checked "store original."
If it is a one time deal just ask someone to do it for you. All you do is Email them the file.
The steps you describe exist in PhotoShop. Post the photo in PP&DS and someone can do this or send it to me in a PM.

ha ha “Idiot photo bomb remover” Tool, that would be useful! I’m sorry someone photo-bombed you.
I know of such tools within the popular retouching softwares but I don’t know of any stand-alone tool that will do that. Maybe some else will have an answer.
If you like you can send it to me (PM me). I’ll remove it for you using PS and sent it back to you.
Alternatively you can always make it part of the show and make a joke about it.
I have PS Elements with content aware and I love that tool.
TouchRetouch is a program I have that removes things from your photos, such as people and wires. But that is all it does. I love it. Use it a lot to get rid of telephone lines.
If it's small and isolated, I do it with LRC spot removal tool. If it's a bit trickier, I go to PS.

Not sure what you are useing for your post photo processing if any. Some one here with more time than myself I am sure would do it for you.... However I do have an older stand alone version Photo Shop but do not use it for the learning curve. I use Fast Stone (it's free) and does all the basic things I need to to crop ,brighten, lighten, remove and host of other things. But it also Clone and Heal to remove unwanted objects, parts of people wires that you don't want in your final image. Once you start using it you may find you may use it more than you think to get rid of distracting things in your final image John Robb

With Faststone Image Viewer which is free and a little patience what you ask is possible.
See my two photos below.
Snap Heal worked good for me. I shot some images in Ireland with a multitude of tourists. Snap Heal got rid of them without a trace. It's not perfect on all occasions, but it usually worked for me. I don't remember the cost. I used to do the same with PS Elements Clone tool.
Hi NMGal , How can I get the program you mentioned "TouchRetouch"
Thanks

I agree with Claude 46. You should be looking at free software. Faststone is great for quick edits on Windows.
Two other options are Darktable for Raw files using the retouch module and GIMP for jpg, using the resynthesize plugin. Darktable and GIMP are cross platform and work on Win, Mac & Linux.
