NMGal is absolutely right, Touchretouch for $1.99 in the App Store is a cheap, easy wonderful way to remove unwanted issues from photographs. Anyone can learn it in minutes. There are times when even careful composition canโ€™t avoid including objects that ruin photos. I use it on my iPad and this app IS a must to have!

Luminar 4's eraser works quite well.I find it simple and works better than Inpixio or Lighroom. PS though has numerous tools to accomplish this.

TouchRetouch is a program I have that removes things from your photos, such as people and wires. But that is all it does. I love it. Use it a lot to get rid of telephone lines.

Drom what I found, TouchReTouch is for phones. I could not find it for a computer.

If you have it, Capture One 20 offers that feature.

Hello Folks, I hope all is good and everybody is well.
Im looking for a program to remove items from a photo. ie: the idiot photo bombing my Beach photo in Cancun. I would like to circle the object and Poof Gone " I seen one on Amazon but its $60 Im on a Poverty Fixed Income. Any Ideas??

Hello

Recently I bought Affinity Photo software (โ‚ฌ 49), mainly for focus stacking, because it is faster and much more efficient than other dedicated software that is much more expensive.
I have found that Affinity Photo can also quickly remove disruptive elements from a photo.
However, I am so used to using Faststone Image Viewer that I continue to use it very frequently.
Examples of what I have done with Faststone:
- Restoration of a badly damaged old photo.
- Removed annoying elements from the towing picture (+ HDR with the free Fusion software).

There is no perfect tool that works for all situations perfectly. PS, LR, Capture One, ON1Raw etc all have tools to select, mask and erase things for removal.

Cancun -> Poverty Fixed Income???? Did you blow the retirement wad on the vacation?

Photoscape X is another free software that has a tool to remove objects from a photo, great program and easy to learn.

What editing software do you have now? BTW, it might help if you posted the photo and checked "store original."

Did the OP ever respond to this? I do not see one. I have had fairly good results with Photoshop and/ Elements. Sometimes one can pick up an older version of Elements for not a lot of money. I bought my first Elements 11 for $25 brand new in the box. I have moved to CC Photoshop since then so I cannot speak what the going rate for Elements is today. Worth a shot.

don't bother with "in-pixio" great come on ad on various internet sites, next to worthless program. Even with the "75% off special", it's not worth the money,

I had some good results with Inpixio when I need a fast edit. PS and LR are more capable but for simple edits like removing someone or fixing small spots Inpixio is a good one.

If you have Photoshop, there are tools to select portions of an image. From there you have choices of what to do with the selection. But first you must learn how to make a selection. The supremely difficult hair.

Free FastStone Image Viewer has a powerful Clone & Heal tool. Great program overall too.
Download free and give it a try. I use it all the time, even though I'm subscribed to Adobe Lr & Ps
