Best car wash scene in the movies!!!

LWW mentioned William Wallace. Reminds me of Braveheart, which reminds me of RobRoy, both good movies.

Mel Gibson (Braveheart) reminds me of Dancing with Wolves, also a good movie. Then again, there's the Mel Gibson, Danny Glover Lethal Weapon series, which reminds me of Bruce Willis Die Hard Series.

Let me just add, if you haven't Watched Greyhound, put it on your list - excellent and compelling. I can promise you won’t be bored. Just started “Seven Days in May” (which I’ve seen before) on TCM - another good watch.

How about the “cult films” like Big Trouble in Little China or The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Great Sci Fi/Horror Movie: Cabin in the Woods.

But....the Mummy with Boris Karloff was one of the best. Saw it on the wide screen as a young kid. Very impressive.

In the foreign language department, I have three favorites: Jean de florette, Manon of the Spring, and Babette's Feast.

All excellent. I like also Amarcord, La Strada, and Roma.

The Third Man. Can't beat that Grahame Greene writing, nor Orson Wells' conflation of Renaissance Florence with Switzerland! Nor Joseph Cotton. Nor Valli. And especially the photography...

Yes! Finally someone mentioned one the greatest film noir of all time with the haunting Zither music of Anton Karas.
