I didn't care that much for Bennet from that period or before. His voice mellowed and became much more musical as he aged.

(Sorry to disparage early Tony Bennet fans with my comment.)

We usually ask Alexa to play his music 2 or 3 times a week on our Sonos. He was a great singer. One of our friends was related to him.

To each his own. I like all his "periods". (BTW:Since you are one of the spelling gurus, it's Bennett

Thanks for the reply,

Wow!!!! You have such unique experiences, Frank! I'm more than a bit jealous. I have that Bill Evans & Tony Bennett album. It's beautiful.
Wonderful (again) hearing from you.

Stay well my friend,

I am a life long Tony Bennett fan. A few years ago, a mutual friend invited me to join him and Mr. Bennett for lunch in San Francisco. We spent a couple of hours just talking. And Tony was so gracious, unassuming and fun. Not much different than the way he is on stage. I have met and spent time with a whole host of performers and writers and musicians, including presidents of the US. But Tony Bennett may well be in a league of his own.

You are quite fortunate to have had those experiences.
Thanks for sharing
