I'm with you, Robert. When you talk about scary movies, you're talking Pinocchio. Snow White, ofc, was one of the best, Cinderella...and for those of us old enough to remember it, since it's not available anymore, Song of the South. A couple non-animation Disney movies that I remember were Old Yeller and The Shaggy Dog. Was Swiss Family Robinson a Disney movie? Also a favorite when I was growing up. I forgot to mention Bambi. Disney was great back then. Esp. when seen on the big screen.

Swiss Family Robinson was Disney and they had the tree house at Disneyland. If I remember right it was right between Safari Land and the New Orleans Square and the riverboat ride.

I grew up with these great Disney animations, which are an amazing art form, and I think one of the best of all the Disney animations has to be Fantasia.

Did you see Fantasia 2000? They took the left over scenes they didn't use in Fantasia and added new ones to make it. I have both on DVD and the sound track of the original in three versions; original, remastered and re-recorded by one of the major symphony orchestras recorded on modern equipment.

Where Eagles Dare. I watch it every time it's on - I suspect I'd watch it less if I bought it.

But I also like the artwork in the early Disney features - Fantasia in particular.
