Consistency in recommendations also.
They have trouble giving ‘consistent’ recommendations when the facts and their understanding change.
I love how everyone is quick to blame, "The idiots in Washington", and not the idiots around them. This isn't a political issue and I wish people would stop turning it into one. They know no more about this virus than you and I. It's the first of it's kind in our lifetime. To blame them is asinine. People didn't stay home, or wear masks. Yet, it's their fault. Really?
I've been saying for years that people are getting dumber by the day. Even wished for a bug that would wipe the stupid out. Kind of like an industrial chlorine that would clean the gene pool. Unfortunately, the stupid are wiping out the smart. Careful what you wish for.
Hope you find the member and pay up.

Some months ago I made a bet of sorts with another member that if Covid 19 hadn't run it's course and things were getting back to normal in 8 weeks, I would send him $100. Obviously, that hasn't happened. In my defense I must admit that didn't factor in the inability of our idiots in D.C. to bandage a scraped knee, much less handle a pandemic. Anyway, I can't find the thread where I made that bet but I am sure the person I made it with remembers. So, refresh my memory, send me your address, and I will mail you a shiny new $100 bill! This is what I get for thinking that politicians could actually be useful!

You can add NYC to that list.
The spread of Covid was more to do with stupid people who failed to follow simple guide lines. Even now these morons have yet to understand the need for precautions. It's people not politicians who are spreading this virus.

That too!
Things are consistently inconsistent.
That's the problem with new things like this.
This should turnout to be the longest thread on UHH!

Election year.
It will be milked for all it is worth until Nov. 4th.
Then it will miraculously become a non issue.
You should have given the Nov. 4th as the date sure.

It will not become a "non issue" until a vaccine is readily available - probably several months after the election - or until some other 'accommodation' is found with the virus.

We shall see after Nov 4.

I don’t know what part of The City you’re in, but the vast majority of people I see on the streets, in stores, etc, are masked and keeping their distance. I don’t think NY would have gotten a grip on this virus had not New Yorkers used their heads. City Hall may have left a lot to be desired, but people are still acting responsibly and complying.

Why would anybody in Florida wear a mask. Weeks ago your bright governor took a victory lap.
