The April issue #163 is also the last one I received. It arrived here in Troy, NY on March 18. Been so conserned about other problems that Ididn't think about it until I saw this post. Guess it is time to follow-up.

For others experiencing problems here is a follow up to my missing subscription issue. Last Friday I sent an email to PhotoPlus advising that lacking any legitimate actions from them I that intend to file complaints with the UK Insolvency Service as well as any other agency that I could locate.

I decided to give them a week to respond and if no reasonable response follow through with my complaints.

Here is the reply I received this morning as I was planning my letter to the UK agencies:

"I'm sorry to read that you haven't been receiving your magazine. I have arranged for the relevant replacement/s to be dispatched.  From the date of this email, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery in the UK; up to 21 days in mainland Europe and up to 28 days for other countries."

I responded back that I would allow a reasonable amount of time for receipt but not 28 days as their boiler plate messages had promised such months ago. I have received things from China and S. Korea in a week.
I'm finished playing with these people and since I can't go knock on their door being a "keyboard warrior" seems to be all they understand.

I'll keep this post updated for those that are having similar issues.

Thank you for the update. I also received the same response this week to my inquiry that I posted on 7 Jul. It took them over two weeks to respond with their canned statements. I'm just about done with this magazine.

This isn't a little podunk magazine. I checked the info on the parent Future Publishing Limited. They are involved in quite a few magazines. I really don't understand all the run around from them. I'm going to give them 10 days and if I don't see something in the mail by then I'll go after them according to the UK procedures. At this point it's a matter of principle in not taking advantage of people. In our businesses we pay every invoice we receive no matter the amount or due date on Tuesday each week. We don't stiff anyone and we expect the same from our vendors and customers on open account.

I’m thinking of subscribing to the Photoplus magazine via “MagazinesDirect”. Does anyone have any complaints or cautions on the delivery or service from MagazinesDirect?

I still have issues with delivery despite a campaign of social media posts, which did get the editor's attention. But alas I have gotten up to the March issue but no April and I see the May issue is out. I have yet to receive the binder and other things I was promised as an initial subscriber back in March 2020.

My take is, subscribe at your own risk and expect delays and maybe non delivery. I'm not renewing.

BTW for years I have subscribed to EOS magazine also published in the UK, and they haven't missed an issue yet. In fact I received the latest issue yesterday on time as always.

Thanks for the update. I was initially thinking of getting the EOS magazine, which I’d seen advertised but never read. I was at Barns and Noble yesterday and bought a copy of the Photoplus and thought it was pretty good. I think I’ll follow your suggestion and go with EOS.
