Not sure if this is the correct area for this message if not, I apologize and please move it to where it belongs. My question is this, do any of you subscribe to the magazine, and if so, have you been experiencing missing issues. I've haven't received copies in more than 3 months. I've contacted them on three occasions and keep getting an automated response that says due to covid-19, they are experiencing reduced staffing, but will get back to me shortly. Haven't gotten anything from them except the automated responses and no magazines.
I get it monthly ... and have not had any issues with getting each new monthly issue.

Here in Colorado, bookstores and the like have not received paper magazines from Europe since the March issues. I was in a Barnes and Noble just a couple days ago. Still nothing and no word as to resumption.

The April issue is the last I've received. Things are improving significantly in the UK, which was hit very hard by Covid-19. I'm hoping as the situation continues to improve they will begin to print and ship the backlog.

What month was the last issue you received?

Issue 164. It states Spring 2020 which I think is the May Issue. I haven't received issues 165-167 and I believe issue 168 should ship out shortly.

I get mine thru my Kindle with no disruption. You might want to try That way if you are now getting hard copy.
I was thinking of subscribing. What do you all think about the magazine?
Thanks,

I am surprised they have not had a better response then just a form letter. I am not missing any issues. Once you do get a proper response they will most likely send you the missing issues. Look at one of your past issues and see if they have more then 1 email address. If so I would contact the other email address and see if that helps.
On March 3rd I subscribed to their "deluxe" option and paid my $146. As of this date all I get is the similar canned "we have Covid 19 shipping issues" responses from them but no shipments. I don't enjoy reading magazines online so the digital copy is of value to me only as a point of reference.
Today I decided it was time to pull out all the stops. I've begun researching how to file a government complaint against a UK company. My first stop was the UK Insolvency Service. I have advised Future PLC, the publisher of PhotoPlus that I would be filing a complaint if I either started receiving my magazines or a refund.
BTW I have had no issues receiving copies of the EOS magazine also published in the UK.
Maybe now they will respond with something other than boilerplate pablum.

That sounds like a lot of work. How did you pay for it? If you used a credit card did you try contacting the issuer of the card to find out your options?

Thanks for your comment.
Yes too much work but sometimes you have to hold people responsible or they get others too. Since I'm able to get other things from the UK it appears they are not being upfront and honest.
Uufortunately too much time has elapsed for the credit card company to act.
Happy shooting

I would like to know how this turns out. I too want to file a complaint, but wasn't sure how to do it.

I'll let you know when/if I get a response from PhotoPlus, failing that I will proceed with all the various UK agencies I can find. Something ought to stick.

I've had a subscription for over 3 years and loved it up until I stopped receiving my issues. I learned a lot about my 5d IV and how to set settings for different situations. It gives valuable info on how to use DPP, Lightroom, Photoshop and other photo editing software. I really like the DVD's you get with the magazine that gives short videos on "How To". I store the DVD's on my computer for fast lookup on items when needed. Ken
