Touching things is the reason for washing or sanitizing your hands frequently, and not touching your face until you do. It takes masks, distancing, and hand washing together to reduce the spread of the virus.

If you are infected, and if you wear a mask, you are severely limiting the spread of the virus. If you don't wear a mask, every breath is spewing virus into the air and, depending on climate conditions, may linger for up to an hour. If you cough or sneeze it will b a higher amount and greater distance.
Take a little time to learn more about it and help save lives. Together we can knock this virus out if we follow the guidelines.

THIS IS EXACTLY THE ATTITUDE THAT KILLS PEOPLE AND DESTROYS PEOPLES LIVELIHOODS.

Many Americans are just STUPID. We know what to do, all level of government has told us what we need to do and the WORLD has shown us what we need to do. But do WE THE PEOPLE do It? NO..., we just don't have any respect for our community nor the discipline to follow simple directions if there's no immediate benefit for ME.
And yes, the world has shown us that masks WORK, over and over again. If you doubt this, ask any frontline healthcare worker anywhere in the WORLD.

Mask wearing AND hand washing/disinfectants (and I don’t mean taken internally) AND distancing are the only tools we have at present. Why would you not want to use ALL of them?

I think I was misunderstood on my op. I am one hundred percent in favor of wearing a mask when I go to a store. I also wear a shield. I believe in social distancing and washing my hands often. I carry hand sanitizer with me and after I touch something I sanitizes my hand with it, each and every time. When I come home I wash my clothes and take a shower.
What I am upset about is the stores having to close. My son-in-law was just getting back to work and now he is going to be laid off again. They have had to struggle ever since they were married twenty plus years ago and each time it wasn't anything either of them did wrong. JUst terrible bad luck, like now.

And your medical credentials are? The research I believe are by people with MD or PHD in a medical/virology field after their name and a medical resume that can be verified. If you fit that description, please post your credentials.
