There are no solutions, only compromises. I like you rework and would zoom in a little more to make your wife happy. I'd crop the left side a little bit but you don't have to make me happy.
Undoubtedly the first - it's close enough to see that this was a residence rather than a barn. There is still sufficient expanse to appreciate the loneliness of that house. Good pic

My opinion: The first one. The second one is a good study of 'grass'. Cabin is too distant to attract one's eye, especially for a 'wall hanger'. God Bless, Papa Joe
