It looks like to me the difference is not mirrorless v. DSLR, but APSC v. full frame sensor.

Or not!

Re your comparison points --#3 under Nikon , Shouldn't that be under Fuji? Nikon Long telephotos are superb but they are multiples of the cost of the Fuji lenses.

I could be wrong but I don't think Fujinon actually make long X-system lenses so I chose a lens that could be fairly compared. I use a Sigma 150-600mm so I compared that to a Fuji 100-400mm. The Sigma cost me $700 used and the cheapest used 100-400mm I could find on eBay was $1900. New they are $2500 (AUD)

When I left Olympic and Panasonic and switched to Nikon with each successive camera I thought I had the cat's meow. I now have the D850 and can't imagine a better camera for stills. Maybe when the next one comes out I will see a need I don't now have but for now I can't imagine another camera that would be better than the 850. Is it big? Yeah, so what. Is it heavy? Yeah, so what. Does it take incredible pictures? Oh yeah!

If I could have any camera for free, I would rather just keep my D850.

Considering what little context you have provided, and not knowing what type of photos you do, nor any clue as to your maternal grandmother’s dog’s name, it’s impossible to give you any solid advice other than .....
You should absolutely hang on to it !

Or "BUTCH," but only if it was a female.

To be fair I never asked for anyone's opinion or advice but there are plenty who want to offer it anyway :-). Your frequently demonstrated inability to understand plain English perhaps excuses you (though your juvenile attempt at humour is another story).

I did the experiment for my own edification and decided to share it here in case anyone else was curious. There were some worthwhile contributions to the discussion but for the majority I'd suggest it was a case of casting pearls before swine...

Just keep your thumb on your place in the script and, more often than not, you will know which lines are to be addressed to which characters in what sequence.

But, reeeeeally, it helps if you make sure you have YOUR script. Apparently you’re reading from Josephakraig’s script !

Hahahaha! Hilarious! You're doing exactly what you're advising others not to do. Who's the troll now eh?

In the immortal words of the Phluorescent Leech and Eddie, “Whoopla, oink! Oink!”

This thread has found its way across the ditch, into the weeds of the glowing purple swamp. Time to watch a Yes concert on YouTube...

Hey, hey now..., be nice. But this'll learn ya. If you're doing things for your own edification, you probably need to keep it to yourself? I'm just sayin'.

If “the winner is clearly the Nikon” why would you continue to vacillate?

For sports or wildlife, I always choose my D500 for its fast and accurate auto focus tracking. I do love that camera, but I also love the experience of shooting with a Fuji X-H1. Sometimes I just shoot with whichever one I feel like using that day. I can see the appeal of both.
