Looking on Amazon, anything I order today, with Prime, will be delivered on July 24. I really don't have to option to shop in local stores for computer stuff.

We need at least ten gal of paint to cover our deck. The best estimate I could get was from Lowes - Aug 17th!!

This is a bad time. We either die, or we have to wait a long time to get our stuff.

Many of the things I order arrive the next day

Maybe I should have my things sent to your house, and I can drive down to pick them up.

Yes, the supply chain has a bad case of slowness.

Going beyond Amazon, I ordered roof racks for my car. After two weeks, I received only the mounting brackets. They're "looking into it."

I ordered four masks (highly rated) from Vistaprint. They sent me three. I suspect limited work forces are contributing to the problems.

I have never...never experienced some the problems you say happen to you.

Could be out of stock. Or coming from China.

Right. This said it would be delivered on July 24, but it is also advertised as "One-Day Delivery."

Maybe it has something to do with where I live and where the item is coming from. I received eight items from Amazon yesterday, ordered on July 4, 6, and 8.

I am a Prime Member and very seldom get 2-day delivery on anything I order from Amazon. However, I ordered
a book on the 14th and got it on the 15th. It's a miracle to me!! Living in or near a larger town or city seems to
be better for 2-day shipping. I have family in Roanoke Va. and they get things almost instantly, compared to me! I guess living in the middle of nowhere as our daughter calls it sometimes has something to do with it!
Wouldn't trade it for anything though, especially now!

Well, July 24 is (or will be) ... 'one day'

You seem to have more problems than; Carter has liver pills.

Jerry’s not the only one.
Sometimes it takes so long they have to cancel or I have to wait for them to restock. And then it gets cancelled again.

I don't remember now, but I tried all the 'usual' places.
Part of the problem is that no one gave me even a hint of an actual date until I actually ordered it.

Yes, I believe part of the issue is inventory.
They probably mix it in North Carolina, and I suspect the whole supply chain is slow these days.
In my case, as long as it arrives while the 'outdoor painting season' is still in progress, we will 'cope'.

Well you see, you ordered a Roku. If you had ordered an Amazon Fire Stick, you probably would have had it minutes after you made the last mouse click.

This immediately follows my most recent post on paint, which it clearly does not refer to. You really should use “Quote Reply” so we can tell to whom it does reply.
