I ordered a Roku streaming stick for the other TV with "One-Day Delivery." It will take ten days to get here. I hope Amazon has compensation plans for those of us who paid $100 for fast shipping

I ordered a Poweroni 6-port charger with 2-day delivery... it arrived 2 days later.

Here, in the Gateway city, they are running one day late or on schedule.

Wow.

I don't think I've ever had a PRIME shipment late, and they visit us a couple times a week.

Instant gratification is a symptom of our national malaise. All things come to he (or she) who waits! Do somerthing else, read a book, play with a child, find a recipe you've never cooked before. Relax.

When you make the purchase and are checking out look at the shipping date. Not all items are shipped in 1 day, it depends if the item is in their warehouse or from another vendor,

My wife ordered a cutting board yesterday morning from Amazon. It was here in 5 hours. Of course we live about 2 miles from a distribution center and they are building a 5 million square foot DC a mile and a half from our house.

So, I guess it depends on where you live and what you order. Want it faster, just MOVE...

You know I have stock in Amazon but I'm no Jeff Bezos. I don't know where the nearest DC is and I really don't want to know. I'd only order more not less!

Right. This said it would be delivered on July 24, but it is also advertised as "One-Day Delivery."

Maybe it has something to do with where I live and where the item is coming from. I received eight items from Amazon yesterday, ordered on July 4, 6, and 8.

Going beyond Amazon, I ordered roof racks for my car. After two weeks, I received only the mounting brackets. They're "looking into it."

I ordered four masks (highly rated) from Vistaprint. They sent me three. I suspect limited work forces are contributing to the problems.

So, here is what 5 million square feet will look like. I think it is one of the biggest buildings in the US. Not just in the warehouse category. Maybe the Pentagon is bigger.

They are working on this 24/7 with only a few holidays off. Amazon really knows how to get things done.

Looking on Amazon, anything I order today, with Prime, will be delivered on July 24. I really don't have to option to shop in local stores for computer stuff.
