This table leaves out that the Chinese Wuhan killer virus strikes mostly older folk who already suffer a medical condition that makes them more vulnerable. In addition, news reports say that Latinos make up a large share of virus cases. This table neglects to account for the complete demographic of virus cases and the mortality rate for each part of it. Thus, we have more intellectual dishonesty involving information about the pandemic.

And all the increased "great" testing in Florida is causing the skyrocketing of positive tests....

Only inconvenience is that the number of positives in FL are 20% of the total tests. The simple truth is our beloved USA, the greatest country in the world, screwed up royally in dealing with the covid-19.

135,984 deaths
US

72,833 deaths
Brazil

45,053 deaths
United Kingdom

35,491 deaths
Mexico

34,984 deaths
Italy

30,032 deaths
France

28,409 deaths
Spain

23,727 deaths
India

Perhaps our numbers are high due to the fact anyone testing positive for Covid-19 and dies; from heart attack, cancer, whatever; (that includes old age, gunshot, auto accident, etc), will be counted as a virus death.
Look it up...that is a quote from the top medical person in Illinois.

There are many articles on how the counting is done around the country.
Maybe other countries count actual Covid-19 deaths, not just anyone dying.
We may never know the real count. Anyway you look at it, this virus is bad.
Look at the "bright" side. How would you like to have been there during the Spanish Flu pandemic? At least we have the internet, TV, air conditioning, refrigerators, and soooo many other luxuries they didn't have.

Not True!

We are seeing the overall picture.

If we allowed this thing to “run it’s course” our healthcare system would be overrun, and people would be literally dropping in the streets. Few people would be willing to report to their work. A few parents would be willing for their kids to attend school, but there would be few willing to teach them. If we demonstrated the discipline Europe has demonstrated, we could ‘open’ as they have, but we haven’t.

I don’t think we’re being told the truth about this virus
I don’t believe anyone has died from the virus alone but had complications on top of

Put things in more perspective with numbers
Last year 1.4 million people worldwide died form TB That’s every year there treatments for this

About 1 million people worldwide die from malaria world wide There medicine for this too
Every year in United States 40 to 60,000 people die from the flu and there’s a vaccine

I believe our government is lying to us about many things this included I look at everything with suspicious eye

And are all the governments of countries hit by the virus around the world also lying to their people? Is this a worldwide conspiracy?

I saw the press conference regarding the disinfectant and he never said it.
A doc had stated that tests were being done where a probe with up light was inserted into the lung as a treatment. Trump inserted “like a disinfectant?” The doc agreed. No one ever suggested swallowing disinfectants but the Pravda press.

The remaining issues have been addresses many times. In the end only the dems sent seniors to an equivelant of a gas chamber when they forced allowing COVID patients into nursing homes. The largest percentage of deaths in Ny No and Pa were from this.

Goes to show the power of the mainstream media......they spoon feed their leftist propaganda to a mush brain audience twenty four-seven, and we wonder, where does all these hair brain ideas come from.....

People in this country are counted as “Covid-related deaths” if their death was related to Covid-19; it is that simple. Perhaps they died of a heart attack because Covid put a strain on a weakened heart, but Covid-19 was there somewhere. It is ‘simple’, really. The person who was a motorcycle hit-and-run last night will not be counted. Don’t be so suspicious of our Authorities.

Not that I am a Trump fan, or not, but there has been lie after lie after lie perpetrated by the left in this matter. Today I missed the first several minutes of the Joe Biden speech, but what I did hear, within three minutes he lied at least three times about what Trump had said and done. Just the way it is and the way politicians work.

How does that compare with t-rump's 20,000 lies?

Death is the easy way out. Life with compromised lungs and/or other damaged organs are a show stopper.

Also, consider the expensed of hospital and rehab for those who have reacted to the virus. Me, I would love to have my weekly 4-4-$4 Wendy's special... but I stopped months ago. I have to live to see SpaceX explore Mars and ICE [Internal Combustion Engine] Cars replaced by EV [Electric] Cars.

Next Spring my ICE car will be replaced by a Tesla Model Y.

The symptoms you list still are the result of the same problem. The government has totally blown its response to the virus by ignoring it for months and then has taken virtually no leadership in solving it or the economic problems it has caused. Right now, when relief is a vote away in a huge economic package, Mitch McConnell has declared it dead on arrival, won't even allow a vote and the Senate is on vacation.
