Until the v***s is under control, until confidence is restored; the economy will not recover.

How old is that? Death rate is probably less that half of the stated figure (0.04%)...but no one knows for sure because of the, "bad data in, bad data out" t***h. How many, "cases" are there in the country right now? By "case" do we mean people who have C***d, or people who have just tested positive and therefore are, "cases".
In any other reportable disease, "cases" means you are describing those who have the disease. In C***d, "cases" just means those who have tested positive. A high percentage of these (40%) either do not remember having any symptoms at all, or just had something unremarkable, and they could have had the disease months ago, and are just now testing positive (counting against today's total cases, not past months) because this is their first test. So that article desperately need updating, and will still be inaccurate, because we are still not differentiating "test positivity" from "cases". Also, we are very obviously over estimating deaths from C***d...If you are admitted to a hospital with C***d, and you pass away, you are listed as a C***d death....There must be a subset of these folks who die from our usual problems..strokes, heart attacks, metastatic cancer...etc. Unless there is an autopsy, these deaths are all, "C***d"...and there are very few autopsies.

Perhaps you could offer your services to the CDC and straighten them out so we can get back to work. Safely.

And all the increased "great" testing in Florida is causing the skyrocketing of positive tests....

Only inconvenience is that the number of positives in FL are 20% of the total tests. The simple t***h is our beloved USA, the greatest country in the world, screwed up royally in dealing with the c****-**.

135,984 deaths
US

72,833 deaths
Brazil

45,053 deaths
United Kingdom

35,491 deaths
Mexico

34,984 deaths
Italy

30,032 deaths
France

28,409 deaths
Spain

23,727 deaths
India

The fact of the matter is a lot more people are going to die of starvation from an economic meltdown than from the v***s. That is not to say the v***s is not real. The U.S. economy however, has already lost trillions and taxes are down significantly. That is the reason for the increase of 6 trillion in the deficit. Some people want to blame it on other things. Schools are losing billions. Football programs are falling apart. Society as a whole is falling apart.

We are on the verge of war with China, Iran, and probably Russia. Yet no one is talking about it. Millions will die, regardless of what people think about the environment, about the deficit, or the v***s. We are going to lose a lot of people, and most will not be because of the v***s.

The point is we get to focusing on one thing and do not see the overall picture.

Not True!

We are seeing the overall picture.

If we allowed this thing to “run it’s course” our healthcare system would be overrun, and people would be literally dropping in the streets. Few people would be willing to report to their work. A few parents would be willing for their kids to attend school, but there would be few willing to teach them. If we demonstrated the discipline Europe has demonstrated, we could ‘open’ as they have, but we haven’t.

No need to be sorry as I put no credence in keyboard experts.

With that frame of mind, screw it because we're all going to die anyway.

That's what the evironmentalists have been saying for a long year. Today, Joe Biden says, "nine years." It isn't exactly like that. And not everyone is going to die. But millions do die in nuclear war, in environmental disasters, in plagues, earthquakes, etc. I am not a pessimist. This is going to lead to some really good things as well. But nature always takes care of itself. And reduces the population when needed. It is just the way it is.

We also have to factor in that it is a very contagious v***s, and maybe mutating to be more contagious, and it can be spread by asymptomatic infected people. We have tried reopening without precautions and it isn't working.
