Getting close to an Anise Swallowtail caterpillar that took up residence in our back yard on a fennel plant. I having been following its development for a couple weeks. Photo taken with micro 105 on a N7200. Setting was spot, f/5 at 1/800 on a tri-pod. It was windy so I had to do the setting and focusing and wait for the wind to subside to take multiple shots. Notice the little feet, there are 3 pairs on the front, 4 pairs in the middle and a pair at the end. I have taken videos with my phone which shows it in feeding mode. Not sure if I can upload it her. It is about 1.5 minutes.
