Outstanding photos. I have a friend that has one and they are in north Maryland and have a similar event each year but much fewer entries.

Love the unique designs and colors. Several years ago we were in Taos for their balloon festival. Not near as big as Albuquerque, but still fun.

Colorado Springs has a good balloon festival too(used to live there) its not as big as Albuquerque, but sizeable.
It is over Labor Day weekend, that's probably canceled too. The Rockies as a backdrop make it pretty cool.
