I buy food service gloves @ about 3.00 for 500, no good for working, great for pumping gas, handling trash, public doorknobs, touching any questionable items, I keep a few in my pocket while I am out and about.

Right! The good gloves are generally not available now. Not surprisingly, the price has tripled.

Just remember that just Touching something that has the virus on it does not mean you will get it whether or not that you are wearing gloves. The virus does not enter your bod through your skin. Just make damn sure you don’t touch your face before cleansing your hands (washing, wipes, hand cleaner). Other than breathing in contaminated droplets the main entry points are by touching your mouth, nose or eyes with contaminated hands. So be smart and keep your hand in your pockets TIL cleaned (and not where this person does 😋😋)

Carry some hand sanitizer in your car and you'll be fine.

While the picture is an attempt at some humor it made me think. How many of us have given thought to the fact that a handle of a gas pump might be a great place for the corona virus to be lurking. How many people a day grasp that handle that might be infected? From now on we are going to carry a disinfectant and or gloves in our vehicle for use around a gas pump. Just something worth thinking about if like me you haven’t? These days we can’t be too careful.

got gas yesteday and wore a pair of throw away gloves.....

I read and have done the following: Put several walmart bags in your car and insert your hand into one to push the buttons at the gas pump and to use the handle. When done, invert the bag as you pull your hand out and discard in the trash barrel by the pump. As others have mentioned you can also use hand sanitizer. I keep a small bottle in the car to always use when returning to the car from a store/shop.

Our local Tesco fuel stations supply gloves if you want to use them, I filled up and was the only person to use them. My daughter always uses gloves when filling up.. And we bot use a hand sanitizer afterwards..

If you contaminate the insides of your pockets you will need to sanitize your hands every time you put upur hands back in them. If my hands aren't clean I don't touch anything.
