The gas pump
While the picture is an attempt at some humor it made me think. How many of us have given thought to the fact that a handle of a gas pump might be a great place for the corona virus to be lurking. How many people a day grasp that handle that might be infected? From now on we are going to carry a disinfectant and or gloves in our vehicle for use around a gas pump. Just something worth thinking about if like me you haven’t? These days we can’t be too careful.

Actually this might be enough to get me to switch to an electric car.

I expect the same problem exists at charging stations. So unless you charge your car only at home you could still be espoused.
I used glove when they were stating transmission from surfaces was significant. Now we know it is less so and sunlight kills it I use a peper towel. This reinforces that.

Significant, interesting thought. How many molecules of COVID-19 does it take to be significant to where you might be infected? Way too much stuff about this virus we just don't know. Personally prefer to use a little extra caution and try and be safe rather than sorry.

They have done experiments.
Surface transmission is the one area in which this virus is now said to be less infectious than they were saying in March.

Good news but still infectious
She needs someplace to keep her credit cards, her pants were too tight to put them in a pocket.
I buy food service gloves @ about 3.00 for 500, no good for working, great for pumping gas, handling trash, public doorknobs, touching any questionable items, I keep a few in my pocket while I am out and about.
They say that a picture is worth a 1,000 words. I am not sure that a 1,000 words is enough to describe this situation. :)

Too much info and they still do not know what info is correct for sure.
Credit card theft is on the rise. People are finding clever ways to foil pickpockets.
