Speaking of "Funny Valentine," probably a useless question but have you caught Chris Botti's serenade of Sting's wife? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eryKY1fhUlo

Pretty smooth!

Thanks

Mark , Love seeing your Items.
Chet baker won the
Downbeat best trumpeter award many times.I Particularly enjoy the album where he sings. You can see in your clips the ravages of Heroin on his face. I know you were once a trumpeter as was I, truly appreciate your postings as they are very variegated. Stay well and productive.Barry

Thanks, Barry. I have many of his albums, including the one you mentioned. Thanks for the kind remarks. Music is one of my life forces.
Stay safe & well!

There's a Van Morrison song, "When the Leaves Come Down," that contains the line, "As we're listening to Chet Baker on the beach." That led me to seek out Chet Baker, and come to appreciate his great music.

I have the record ...... hard to find much about her .... she left the entertainment business ...... several years ago, before she died ... her grand daughter came across the utube .... she never knew her grand mother was a famous singer ...
