I just remembered another photo from my past which fits this theme. I am a lifelong bicyclist, and for a while in the '80s I was professionally shooting pro bicycle racing. This is a photo of Bernard Hinault, a French racer who is the equivalent in France of a Michael Jordan in the US. It was right after the end of a race, and he happened tp pull up right next to me, head hung down in total exhaustion. I waited for a while for him to raise his head, and then I just stepped over and went down on a knee and shot up at him just before he rode off. That eliminated a busy background and likely gave me a better shot than if I had waited.
