I like to shoot flowers against the sky when I can. This is one of my favorites. At my age, getting down on the ground is harder than it used to be.

Very nice start for what should be a good challenge for sure. Thanks.👍👌
This past Memorial Day the Lewis Air Legends Staged a fly over with some of their vintage collection of aircraft. I had read they were going to do it but didn’t figure it would be anywhere close over our neighbor hood. Now when I heard a loud roar of aircraft engines Go over it dawned on me that that was them and I missed them😳😩 as they disappeared to the south of the neighborhood. Some 30 or 40 minutes later I heard them again & even louder. As I ran through the house to get outside all I could grab quickly was my phone and zoom as I ran to get out from under an oak tree. They were again quickly disappearing but I got these far off images that are kind of croppable.....
Very nice start for what should be a good challeng... (show quote)

I just remembered another photo from my past which fits this theme. I am a lifelong bicyclist, and for a while in the '80s I was professionally shooting pro bicycle racing. This is a photo of Bernard Hinault, a French racer who is the equivalent in France of a Michael Jordan in the US. It was right after the end of a race, and he happened tp pull up right next to me, head hung down in total exhaustion. I waited for a while for him to raise his head, and then I just stepped over and went down on a knee and shot up at him just before he rode off. That eliminated a busy background and likely gave me a better shot than if I had waited.
