I once read that men will enjoy looking at an attractive woman of age 17 to the man's own age, so the joy of watching beautiful women is that the field gets wider every year. When I was in my twenties, I doubt that I would have found a sixty-year old woman attractive. Now that I am past 70, I see 60-year-olds as "hot young chicks" (too young for me) and I recognize the beauty of many women in their 70's.

I understand and agree with what you're saying. Like in many other areas, our perspective of what attracts us, in this case to a female, changes with age and maturity. I used to be humored by Hugh Hefner and his 21-year-old girlfriend at age 80. Contrary to some I did not envy him, but felt sorry for the total lack of maturity, and superficiality, he showed at that age.

I felt the same way about Hef (I could add our current president as well). In Hef's defense, however, he said that he felt that the younger generation shared his progressive ideas more than people of his generation did. On the other hand, while I love spending time with my grandkids, I would have no interest in dating one of their friends.
