I recently bought one of those. I use it on a Nikon D750 and on my D7100 (Dx). So far am very happy with the results on both cameras.

I have this lens too but on the D7200....been happy with it so far although some say the Nikon 200-500 is a tad sharper with faster AF/VC...but I've also heard the reverse too! Of course the 200-500 is not an an option for your Canon. Also it looks like you cropped it? Below are a few on my shots - all at 600mm full 24mp 6000x4000. May not be the sharpest lens but it's pretty darn good for the price and gives quite a lot of detail, with better handling than the 200-500...the gull on the lamp is about 100+feet in the air and I was about 100ft from the base.

chrisg-optical, Are you hand-holding your camera & "big Tammy" ? If so, these images are excellent. My Tamron 150-600 G2 is on a Nikon D750 but I find myself using a heavy tripod and gimbal. I am close to 80 with lots of arthritis in my hands so hand-holding will yield horrible results. I get very sharp results but I use my tripod, gimbal, 3-second delayed shutter and a cable release. So.......I am really cheating. Of course, if I were shooting wildlife I would not be using a 3-second shutter delay.

Great shots of a rare bird to me. I also have this lens on a Canon 7D mk ii and am well satisfied with it.

Just bought myself this lens and decided to take it down to a local conservation area to give it a spin. We were lucky enough to find a bird very rare to our area, the Marbled Godwit. I hope this lens continues to bring me more lucky finds like this!

My wife and I each own the Tamron 150-600 g2. All of our photos are tack sharp at all focal lengths. It is an excellent lens, have many years of great photography with yours

I'm certainly happy with it on my Canon T7i...thinking of moving to full-frame but I think I'll stick with my current combination...for now
