You are probably already aware that the contrails, power lines, unwanted poles, etc. can be removed effortlessly and completely in PS. On the other hand, that could make the image a bit antiseptic and maybe not what you were going after... in any event, love the barn and the composition...

Yes, I know they can be remove in a few different ways, but frankly, they didn't bother me all that much when I submitted the photo. Perhaps I'll work on it some more in a few days. Thanks you.

I like this much better than the sepia version. Very nice capture.

I always prefer color . Thank you, thank you, thank you for printing the color image. I just don't have the sophistication necessary to appreciate black and white. For some reason I seem to see in color.

I liked your sepia image of this barn and I like this one as well. I am sure I would like a black and white one as well. What I really want to comment on is your statement about driving around with your camera and enjoying taking pictures. This is a great way to really see the countryside (cityside as well) as opposed to merely driving through it. It is relaxing and good for the soul, especially during these times we currently find ourselves. Thanks for reminding us of the fun we can have simply by heading out with our cameras.

So, attached is the sepia barn in the original version, along with a few minor enhancements. Granted, the contrails can be a bit of a distraction as well as the power lines, but sometimes you simply have to deal with the cards you're dealt. Directly in back of the barn is modern day harvesting equipment while on the left side is a steep drop off to the roadway. On the far right is a cyclone fence. Anyway, I spent a week in the Palouse region with nothing but time on my hands, a camera in the passenger seat, and a tank full of gas. Comments are always welcome. Good, bad, or otherwise. Ken
