So, attached is the sepia barn in the original version, along with a few minor enhancements. Granted, the contrails can be a bit of a distraction as well as the power lines, but sometimes you simply have to deal with the cards you're dealt. Directly in back of the barn is modern day harvesting equipment while on the left side is a steep drop off to the roadway. On the far right is a cyclone fence. Anyway, I spent a week in the Palouse region with nothing but time on my hands, a camera in the passenger seat, and a tank full of gas. Comments are always welcome. Good, bad, or otherwise. Ken

Yes - but these days the cards that are dealt can be changed - with the Ace of Luminar up your sleeve

Nice shot.
I love the sky, the grass and the barn.
Could do without the pole on the left.

the wires are pretty unobtrusive to me anyway.

Wait a minute, great photo, but where is the couple with the pitchfork... did they die of COVID-19?

The clouds seem to direct the eye to the peak of the barn, and the pole on the left is a nice eye-stopper that keeps your attention from going out of the frame. I like everything about it! You used your time well. And what a delight to be able to wander for a week with a camera! "Not all those who wander are lost", as J.R.R. Tolkein said.

I'm a color-guy, Ken. I will (almost) always prefer a color version of a subject.
