She is excellent to see and I think you captured that excellence.
Your series on this lady was wonderful. I bought an RP late last year. I suggest you get a book like David Bush's and learn the camera. You won't be disappointed.

LOL! Yes, she likes me, and feels comfortable with me. Here is the problem, I'm married, and she is a close friend of the family, including my wife. It is all above board.
Sometimes I think being above board is overrated.
I should have a cooperative lady like that living next door. Nice work with your photos of her. I’ve enjoyed them.
It’s been a great series. Thank you.

especially for a Mavica !!
If Stardust was my neighbor I would do a session indoors where it is easier to control the lighting, I suggest you start with one light, when you get comfortable with that add a reflector to fill some of the shadows, then hair light, above her to highlight her hair, then add a third light to control shadows on the model and the background, it takes practice but it can be fun. Digital make this a lot easier because you can view the results after every lighting change. I used to use a plaster statue to get a my lighting close before my model arrived.

Thank you very much, everything you wrote sounds like good advice. If "stardust" was MY neighbor I would tell him to read your post to learn how to write constructive criticism without sounding sarcastic.

I bought the book, since the manual was overwhelming. Additionally, I bought the RF 24 -105, and 1.8 - 38 lenses with a 580 flash. I'm ready to get serious!
My poor wife has to model for me now almost daily to help me practice with the camera. She, too, is extremely attractive and I already posted some pictures of her on a different list.......... with clothes on.
Love the camera.
You did a very fine job. We all wish we could have such a super model and our camera , but you did, and you did a great job .
Loved the series.. I'd love to see a picture of her with her hair "done up". Can't imagine what she does with all that.
I spent years doing this type of photo work, and it was many years ago. The one thing that made a great shot, to my liking, was the models facial expressions and smile. You can control lighting, poses, and all the other particulars such as hair lights, etc. But a "Chiseled" smile on a model was a downer for me. Your lady has a 10+ look and smile. That she is just a neighbor, and not a pro model.....work with her as much as you can...you have a winner as a model. All the other stuff will come along with practice and experience. Great Work!!!!!!
