I really like the image as is...nice job!
Very good capture, Tommy, I like it a lot.
Very, very good! Grabs your eye at first glance! Thanks for posting.

I agonized over this image in color - hated the sky, didn't like the contrasts, color tones all wonky, lighting all wrong, etc. So... rather than ditch the whole thing I gave it a shot in b&w and I think it turned out reasonably well. Barn and windmill near Kalispell, Montana on an overcast day.
EDIT NOTE: I have been informed that this is actually a sepia rendition. I am red/green color blind and that hampers me a bit, as I often don't see what others see in reddish and greenish tones... ** sigh **

It looks Ancient & Wonderful to me....sorry about your color problems....awkward I suppose.

Don't come to west Texas, then. We get lots of reddish-brown clouds. They're called dust storms. No fun, and we don't like them either. Tommystrat did do a good job though.
Years ago I lived in Los Angeles. We had brown clouds there, too. And a brown sky. And thick brown air... so I feel ya! Thanks for the kind words on my image!
With permission from the OP via PM, and as a collaboration, I edited Tommy's sepia barn to add a bit of texture. I used three different programs to add the subtle changes:
1. Topaz Texture Effects - added a gritty texture, but dialled back to less than 20% when blending
2. Nik Collection: Output Sharpener; Adaptive Sharpening - 28%, Structure - 15%, Local Contrast - 15%, Focus - 15%, then used the Brush Mode and Paint Effect to selectively sharpen the barn, mountain tops, windmill, and fence (not usually a good to idea to sharpen clouds or grass)
3. Smart Photo Editor [Sketch preset], blended at less than 10%, to add a hint of a western sketched drawing.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to post your comments and impressions - much appreciated! I don't mean to sound whiny or complaining about my little red/green issue. Other photographers and artists have dealt with much worse, and their work is astounding. I learn a great deal from these postings and your comments. In the grand scheme of things, I mostly appreciate the fact that I can still get up each day, with the good health to be able to go out and express myself in the images I create - that's good enough for me.

Tommy’s original version as posted is much better!
I really like it. I might’ve crop the very top after looking at the download. Composition is great.
A wonderful sepia landscape. Perhaps to further enhance the "oldness" of the barn, add just a touch of contrast. Look forward to seeing others.
What a lucky find. I'm from Eastern Iowa and have been photographing some old barns lately. Been looking for one with a windmill, but no luck, or too many other things in the way to get a good image. Personally, I like the sepia for this image. Will the sun ever shine?
