I learned from one of the telephone KEH salespeople that due to covid19 the sales people are in one location, usually their home, and the products they sell are at another ( warehouse). The salespeople do not see the items being sold, depend upon someone else for inspection, rating, etc. Prior to covid19 I bought used products from KEH after asking the salesperson to actually inspect it. KEH guaranteed their used products in the past and accepted returns , including sending prepaid mailing labels.
When I recently learned that the KEH salesperson could not examine the lens I was interested in buying, I bought one elsewhere.

That explain a lot, no wonder I had to sent the camera back. I had a feeling that things were not right at KEH.
I buy all my used equipment (cameras, lenses, microscopes, exercise equipment, computers, guitars, audio equipment) and some new equipment (including lens adapters, shoes and clothes and medical items) on ebay. When the item was not as listed (happened five times in the past 10 years) ebay has promptly sent me a return label and then refunded my money including postage both ways, with no argument. I didn't have to rely on the seller to do this. I have bought dozens of items on ebay, and roughly 90% were just as listed, many of the used items were in mint condition.
I have saved anywhere from 30% to 90% compared to new prices, and having to pack and mail the returns was not a big deal.
I always check the sellers ratings and unless negative ratings are trivial, I won't buy from them. I check the description carefully to be sure the item is said to be in excellent working condition. Then if it is not, it's an automatic refund. I have bought ebay items from the US, China, Japan, South Africa and Lithuania and have been happy with them. I think ebay is considerably more buyer oriented then Amazon. The ebay guarantee has worked for me every time so far.

First of all itโs unfair of you to post a negative review before giving the company a chance to respond. Second, from reading your post it seems that English might be your second language. Perhaps some of the problems youโre having are due to lack of clear communication with the seller.
And yet, with English being his second language (or 3rd or 4th), he has made himself perfectly understood in his posts. Therefore I would suggest that his communication skills are good enough for him to know when he is being screwed over.
I wonder if your response is a result of xenophobia, as opposed to wanting to be helpful?
By now, I can't even remember what this is all about. Makes me happy to know that I don't know any of you personally.
This doesn't seem to be an eBay problem. I have found eBay to be very supportive of me on my purchases. Go to eBay, follow the dispute procedure which is very simple, and I believe you will find them very helpful - even to the point of reimbursement. Just a month or so ago I was once again supported by eBay who quickly researched the transaction and reimbursed me the purchase price. I am very comfortable with eBay.
