E Bay: What going on Part 2

This afternoon I had to ship back a second camera this mouth because it had problems. This time I had to ship the camera back to KEH. KEH said the camera was ex. con. Also to today I had to ship back a lens from Neptune Photo. The lens was list as ex. con. it did not work right. Don't people check things out before shipping it? Don't tell me their don't have time to check thing. As for me that it, no more buy off the internet. If I don't have the camera in my to check it out. forget it

User ID, you ask for a up date. Here going. I ship out the lens and had to pay for it. Also I put in negative feedback on Neptune Photo inc. I did all that around 2:00 PM (New York City Time) . About a half hour ago( 5:45 PM (NYC' time) I get a e-mail from Neptune, saying If I remove the negative feedback their will sent me pre-pay mailer. I e-mail back, forget it. I want my money back. I get a second e-mail from Neptune saying I have to remove the negative feedback before the money can be relisted. I answer them by tell them when I get my money back I will remove the negative feedback. If I get a third e-mail, all bets are off. As for KEH just waiting.

I never bought anything from KEH but reading a lot of posts about them I have the impression that they don't really check their stuff carefully. I saw many posts said that they bought bargain rate cameras and got ex cond stuff. And from people like you who bought ex cameras and were disappointed.

Whenever you buy used equipment, you need to factor in the possibility that there may be issues with it. As long as you can return the item, there's no need to get angry, annoying as it may be. Stuff like this happens now and then. As for the "no more buy off the internet" - you're just over-reacting and ultimately, punishing yourself by severely limiting your shopping options. Do you really want to punish yourself because a retailer made a judgment error?

It more than "retailer made a judgment error" It a loss of trust, which without it you have none. Why lie about about something? In the end people will see what going on. Sit down and look on e-bay and see now many people selling cameras are lie about the camera by using code words. "As long as you can return the item.", boy, that cover up a lot of sins. Yes, I purchase item that don't work, but I knew before hand that the items does not work, not after the purchase.

Good point, but the possibility of experiencing issues with buying used equipment is also true with brand new equipment even with high or low end equipment and brands. I have had to return cameras and lenses to some of the most elite suppliers mentioned in this forum: all of them have responded positively whether with exchanges or refunds for equipment.

Just a thought. It would be in your benefit to remove the negative response. When the return of your money is in hand at that time express your experiences with that company.

Any reputable seller on eBay will do just that. You have to contact them first with the issue and they will send you a mailer label. I have never had an issue with KEH or any other reputable eBayer! They are happy to correct a faulty item. Are you sure your camera is functioning properly? Food for thought. I have several, very good sellers on eBay!
