Don't many credit cards and other businesses charge late fees? As for the amount of interest, compare it to Macy's, JC Penney, Adorama and others. Or let Henry do it for you:

Doubly interesting. I received the required letter from Synchrony which had a lot of impenetrable language and a sentence saying I had insufficient credit activity, or something along those lines.
I have been using it since the beginning. When my account was set up somehow the "pay balance in full" option wasn't initiated and my visa was only paying the minimum. They fixed it and forgave the interest on the unpaid balance.

While the PayBoo card interest is high compared to others but all credit cards interest are high. I don't think you can get lower than 14% and more often around 18%. So if you carry a balance you will have to pay quite a bit of interest with any card.

I've been around long enough to work on my third or fourth.
Why stop when you're ahead?
I signed up with them right away and haven't been disappointed. Yes, you need to pay the CC balance in full to avoid hefty interest charges but I do it anyway for all my credit cards. I don't buy anything unless I can pay it, period.
I just bought a lens & filter for over $400. This will be paid in full.
The savings are real, you get a discount from B&H for the sales tax amount AND your state gets the tax. It's a win-win for everybody, including B&H.

I use it all the time because I get out of the sales tax. HATE SALES TAX. B&H sends me a monthly statement with my balance. If I pay the balance I am clean and green. No fuss, no muss.
So, one of your 6 locations gets their cut, you're off the hook for the tax, B&H foregoes some profit, and your local camera store loses sales and maybe goes out of business. Everybody wins?

Interesting. I too have a credit score over 800 and was rejected. Maybe if it is too high, they feel you would pay off the balance on time and they would not make much money off of you.
I have a credit score over 800 and was approved. It MAY be the balances you have on other credit cards. Don't know for sure.
I signed up with B & H pay boo card. Used five times, worked as stated however paid off in full when I received statement each time. I've had no problems.

How does the bill arrive? Email, Snail mail?
I get mine snail mail and pay it as soon as I get it. Never had a problem and never charged any fees. Maybe there is a NYS law against it.
It is used to save the sales tax not to carry a balance. Pay in full at invoice and interest isn't in play here.

Well yeah, it's obviously working for you 😉
