I think it’s lousy. The fine print is extensive and easy to violate - This is the only place I’ve had problems in several decades. You can call it my fault for not understanding the fine print, but it’s easier just to avoid B&H.

Interesting. I too have a credit score over 800 and was rejected. Maybe if it is too high, they feel you would pay off the balance on time and they would not make much money off of you.

Check everything on your application. If your address is not your billing address, there are a lot of freaky things that can happen to credit applications to cause a failure. I would call them personally. I am sure they would love to add you as a loyal user.
My credit sucks and they gave me one right away, go figure.

Since Ebay started collecting tax this works out to be a great way to save money, as long as you pay the balance in full with your first on-time payment.

I do not understand your comment, all credit cards have extensive fine print. I find with all credit cards. I get the bill and I pay it in full electronically on or before the due date and there is no issue.

So where do you buy your stuff? I buy them locally but many people do not have the option.

I don't get involved with any credit card with that kind of interest. If anything goes wrong you are on the hook and I don't want that hardship.

Be careful, didn't use it one month and was charged about $15 as a non-use fee. Canceled it immediately!

Did you have a balance? I have used the card only 4 times in 11 months and have never been charged a fee of any sort.

It's great. You must pay your balance in full when the bill arrives. If you don't, you will be paying preditory interest rates. I've saved hundreds in taxes since getting it.

How does the bill arrive? Email, Snail mail?

I have not used mine for months and never encountered any “non use fee” and there is no such fee in my credit card agreement, and yes, I have read the agreement. Perhaps such a fee may have been added to more recent card agreements?

Thinking of signing up with PayBoo at B&H. Any one have positive or negtive experience?

B&H is no problem. The only problem is with Synchrony Bank. They love to sock you with $30-$40 late payment penalties even if the check arrives less than 24 hours late.

Beware. Pay your bill. I'm not sure if the savings in sales taxes is worth it unless you are making a major purchase.

Didn’t have a balance.
But as someone said, they have screwy options and rules, maybe my contract had different fine print.
These days companies will do anything to get money.

I do not understand your issue. All credit cards charge a late fee. After all late is late. By paying electronically the payment arrives on the date you select. Why mail a check when it is so easy to use your bank's bill paying app? My bank even sends checks to small vendors not on their list and there is no charge to me. They also, guarantee the payment date.
