Any recommendations! The only one I have now is David D. Bush Nikon D850 Guide to Digital SLR!

I would recommend this one: https://www.dslrbodies.com/books/bythom-complete-guides-/nikon-d850-guide.html I've bought his guides for the D200 and D800 and they're excellent. Since they're electronic, you can also put them on your tablet for easy access. Give it a look.

What information are you looking for that isn't covered in David D. Bush Nikon D850 Guide to Digital SLR or the owner's manual?

For auto focus:
https://bcgwebstore.com/product/secrets-to-the-nikon-autofocus-system/

For exposure and metering:
https://bcgwebstore.com/product/secrets-to-exposure-and-metering-for-nikon/

The author, Steve Perry is a member here and very accessible. He also post a lot of videos.

If you want a deep dive on almost every technical detail, I'd go with Thom's guide. I also heartily agree with Bill_de, and recommend anything and everything from Steve Perry.

All the above recommendations are great. If you are "Old School" and prefer an actual Book (remember those? Paper and ink with pictures), I would recommend "Mastering the Nikon D850" from Nikonians Press. Author is Darrell Young. It is thick, kinda heavy, and over 600 pages. Probably "no more informative" than Thom's guide.
Just a different way to get the info.

The best instructions I got is from Steve perry-birding. Busch book isn’t bad but I feel lost. Leave the menu alone an advance a friend gave me what helped me not to screw up stuff. Nikon isn’t fun to reset.

I would strongly recommend, Steve Perry a member here.
All of his videos and Ho-To-Do-Its, Tips, and Camera Set-Ups are excellent and easy to understand.

You've got probably the best available ... in my opinion.

You have the BEST one already. You need nothing else.

I'm a big fan of Darrel Young! "Mastering the _______________" series. He's clear and not only gives the "what" but the "why" of each function in the camera.

I have both Busch and Young books on the 850. Both are good but the nod goes to Young. Perry’s book on Auto Focus is terrific but specific.

Creativelive has great on line courses for photography and cameras. John Greengo does the camera "fast start" classes and has one for the D850. I highly recommend these courses.

Check on-line...many provide samples and reviews. Pick what works for you, not me.

Cheers!
