Metal, plastic, ketchup, catsup, whatever. Flamingos with silly expressions (and even those that've been impaled on a stick) rock!, Linda. Fun shot.

Had you given any thought about skewing your grid-like background such that its angles echo the angles of the reclaimed window frame?
Thank you Jim! Believe it or not, I had a fleeting thought of the skew/angle issue after posting. You've shamed into taking action! I'll tackle that as soon as Trixie leaves my lap

Love this and you added a shadow! Great stuff Linda.
Thanks Keni! Sorry I missed your comment yesterday. Re shadows, if you mean the window and/or the flamingo, those are as-shot. Here is view with all layers turned off except Miss F's fresh coat of paint

Hmm, now that I look at it, I'm thinking this one will go on FB. Decisions, decisions!

Years ago we put bright fiberglass flamingos in a good friend's yard for her birthday. She passed and we took two of them and now put them out where ever we live to remember her.
That is a special memory!

I was struggling with PSE's tools for distort/skew/transform, so Mr. Cany graciously offered to do the hard work while I put a fresh coat of virtual paint on Miss F

Having fun, as you most certainly do, is half the fun for creatives, IMHO. I like what you did. thanks.

Thank you for taking a look, Kathy. When I'm concentrating on playful pp is when time passes without notice

Started as a straight picture of the coffee maker with a teacup. Then I had to put something into the teacup so I thought green was a nice color. Then I noticed the logo on the teabag so I had to add that in.

Or your workshop, if you prefer. Snap, add a playful edit, post here!

This started as a straight shot of an old window I have hanging in my kitchen. The assignment is for the Facebook Create 52 (Photography) Group. One thing led to another after I decided to include my flamingo lawn ornament

(the technical: PS Elements 2018 in expert mode, with layers and layer masks, with a few blend mode changes. The sky is one of my own pics, the birds a brush I made from one of my pics, and the texture on the wall is one of PSE's: craquelure.)

#2 has a new background from Cany143. I was struggling with PSE's tools for distort/skew/transform and my limited experience. I hope you like the fresh coat of paint I placed on the now-pink flamingo while awaiting Cany's technical expertise

Thanks!
