Or your workshop, if you prefer. Snap, add a playful edit, post here!

This started as a straight shot of an old window I have hanging in my kitchen. The assignment is for the Facebook Create 52 (Photography) Group. One thing led to another after I decided to include my flamingo lawn ornament

(Photo #2 changed May 21) - I was struggling with PSE's tools for distort/skew/transform and my limited experience. I hope you like the fresh coat of paint I placed on the now-pink flamingo while awaiting Cany's technical expertise. The technical: PS Elements 2018 in expert mode, with layers and layer masks, with a few blend mode changes. The sky is one of my own pics, the birds a brush I made from one of my pics, and the texture on the wall is one of PSE's: craquelure.

Thanks!

And yet another belated change. This is what I ended up posting to Facebook. I'm adding to this thread on June 20, so nobody has seen it who commented here As with the other, the sky is my own pic, as are the silhouetted trees.

I appreciate it. I should have said I have limited skill with pp; that would be more easily quantified - without sounding like I'm fishing for compliments

Thanks Mike! It was a Christmas present years ago, and moved with me from a mobile home park where I had a lawn to an apartment where I don't What is your position on plastic pink flamingos? (this one is metal)

Years ago we put bright fiberglass flamingos in a good friend's yard for her birthday. She passed and we took two of them and now put them out where ever we live to remember her.

Metal, plastic, ketchup, catsup, whatever. Flamingos with silly expressions (and even those that've been impaled on a stick) rock!, Linda. Fun shot.

Had you given any thought about skewing your grid-like background such that its angles echo the angles of the reclaimed window frame?
