Right this very minute I am busy doing something else. I may look into it later on today. Thank you for your support.

How odd you ask me when over the years I have been here I have asked any number of questions of Democrats right here. I am not going to go into them now but maybe again sometime. But to date my point is not one of you lying Liberals has bothered to give me any answers. I guess better that you all just yawn and give a Ho Hum and move on. Not even a deflection, just nobody can bother to answer because the truth isn't likely to be seen coming from any of your mouths.

"you lying liberals"?

Name one false thing I have posted on this. Just one.

Mulford Act? Check.
Passed by Republicans? Check.
Signed into law by Ronald Reagan? Check.

You on the other hand:

Fault of the Dems? False.

Who needs facts when you have snide?

When are you going to admit there were no innocent victims of Joe McCarthy?

Nope. You are on the wrong side of history.

Can't argue the merits? Change the subject. How Trumpie.

How about are you every going to admit that your made up Nate Silver quote was a lie? You ever going to apologize for the personal attack on my integrity that was based only on innate animus and the fact that you can't tell time?

Nope.

Reagan was wrong! So was Mulford

The handguns were more open carry. Much easier. No one thought anything of it and ‘gunfights’ didn’t break out. These places are small town America where people seem to have more common sense.

If it’s a place where the people have more common sense, what is the necessity/sense of carrying a handgun?

Common sense dictates one should be able to protect themselves. There is always someone without common sense who could and sometimes does show up.

Lighten up dude. I hate that phrase. Are you the only Liberal in The Attic? Did I mention you specifically? Are you suffering from feelings of guilt along with TDS? Did I point out that YOU had a false thing listed on this post. Holy CRAP! We aren't married. Get off me.

I haven't looked it up yet. Be patient little gwasshoppa. All in good time. No need for flying into a rage. Calm down. Everything is OK. Shhhhhhhhh. There there.

And if HE/SHE didn't show up with a gun then that would eliminate your need to carry a gun.

You gunslingers always claim that the number of murders committed by guns is much less than the number due to knives, clubs, etc. So with such a small incidence of gun violence to begin with it seems like paranoia to always pack a sidearm when leaving the house, just in case there is a loony out there with bad intent.

I can tell you for a fact that SOME of America's most dangerous criminals don't have common sense. The rest of us carry firearms just in case we run across them on our path somewhere. I can also tell you that some of America's most dangerous criminals live right next door to the rest of us.

So much you don't know...

The NRA use to work with gun control advocates until they realized they wanted all or nothing. They did in fact help write the Mulford act. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Which one is the HE/SHE you are talking about John? Are you able to look at a person in a large gathering and just KNOW that person is a danger to society? NO? I can't either and I have been doing it for 30 years. On occasion you can have a pretty good idea. But that still does not mean the police can go over to them to disarm them and make an arrest. Do you know anybody at all in your daily travels that might seem a bit different but who is pretty much harmless.

Your second paragraph is just precious. You really should read it just for the comedy lines.

First of all you rudely and most likely are trying to sarcastically insult those of us who actually do carry firearms. How ridiculous of you to even think that because statistics show that just the presence of an honest citizen displaying a firearm has stopped numerous crimes.

The most precious is you list off knives and so on and then make the claim that since gun violence is so low why do we need a gun. This is right after you just named a number of weapons that are commonly used to commit murder. Let me explain it to the slow witted among you Liberals; The guns are to protect us from the criminals who are carrying the knives, clubs and so on. Do you honestly think I approve of being murdered by a knife or club but not with a firearm? My friend that is the most ridiculous post you have ever submitted. Priceless, just priceless.

Your post is almost as dumb as Senator Feinstein (who carries a firearm by the way) making a comment that if the police would stop carrying firearms then the criminals would also stop carrying firearms too.

OMG!!! How we laughed and we laughed and laughed at that one.

Thanks for the explanation. I am busy today so don't know when I would be able to look it up. It almost reminds me of when the Democrats told Reagan IF he would give illegal aliens amnesty they would pass a comprehensive Immigration Bill. How long ago was that, 40 years maybe 50? Still no Immigration Bill from the Lying Liberals in Congress.

It also reminds me of when America pulled out of Vietnam and Congress led by the Democrats promised South Vietnam to replace materiel piece by piece when needed. Right after we pulled out Congress basically told South Vietnam, F YOU and never fulfilled their promise. Now that is what I am talkin about when I say Lying Liberals.

Dennis, to throw an expression at you that you have thrown my way several times...

"It must really suck to be you," unable to leave the house without a gun because you are afraid someone out there might "git ya."

I never give it a second thought no matter where I am or have travelled in the world.

You pack a sidearm for the loonies that show up with a knife or a bat...

Never bring a knife to a gunfight...and pack a sidearm just for the loonies that do.

I rarely carry...but I am quite happy that I can whenever I want to.

John whether to carry a firearm or not is my choice. I pray to God that I never have to use it. But on the other hand IF I ever do have the need to have one and didn't bring one I may suffer for the rest of my life if someone in my family or friends is killed all because I did not have a firearm with me.

Glad you can travel all over and not need a firearm. But just give this a thought. In the time it took you to type that sentence someone in Canada was probably attacked. I hope they are OK, don't you? Nice you can live in a country that has no violent crime. Nice I live in a country that allows me to protect me and my family and friends.
