In the second shot, there is considerable blurriness on both sides of the tree limb, so I'm guessing the second shot was taken through the window glass. I hope you'll let us know who's right at some point...

Has your window cleaner got a U.K. franchise?

Both good but I was onto to no.2 before I saw the answer. Basically a 50/50 guess + a slight feeling no.2 was inside.

After looking at the reflection in the eye I would say that number 1 was thru the glass.

Well I think you proved to things, Joe. You photograph birds very well and you clean windows very well.

Both were taken through a window...in one the window was open; in the other the window was closed.

Which one was shot through double pane window glass? Leave a comment if you have an opinion.

Wow, great shots but I like the second one best. I want your glass cleaner, both the person and the product. I hope that second one was the open window. Do tell!

Great photos. No concern about the glass, just the results. Keep up the good work.

The 2nd image has a more-narrow depth of field than the first and I would think this is caused from the additional glass in front of the lens,so number 2 is the one I suspect as being taken through the double pane window.........hope so????
