Which One Has The Glass?

Not intended to be scientific or to prove anything other than it is hard to tell them apart in one respect.
Both were taken through a window...in one the window was open; in the other the window was closed.
Which one was shot through double pane window glass? Leave a comment if you have an opinion.

I would guess the first one was taken through the glass window. The second one has extreme detail especially the bill of the bird is very detailed. Also, the first one seems taken from a tad further away...

The head feathers appear to have more detail in the second shot, so my guess top one is thru the window.

I'll be wrong, but look at the 'ghost' along the trunk below the bird, right side, in the 2nd image. That one, second from top, is behind the closed window.

after enlarging the shots and comparing the white back feathers I think the second one is through the glass. It looks like a Fresnel lens. Both are great shots

Both are very good. I'd say no. 1 is through glass, but it's a very clean glass!

What is this "clean glass" stuff? Don't windows and sliding glass doors come with cat and dog nose and foot prints on the inside and misc stuff on the outside?

Haha. Nose smudges/smears for the first two feet.
Five feet up should be good.

My guess is number 1. Just seems a tad sharper to my eye. Both are outstanding shots of this beauty.
