Ha the White Island comment could almost be taken as a bad taste joke. However I am probably unaware of tragedy local to Elnikkor and could easily make the same mistake. Thrilled to see the countryside behind Mount Somers......I have a holiday house in the township there and often see the distinctive tour bus go past my gate. You've done a superb job of capturing my country. Pleased you enjoyed it and got home safely.

Took the cruise back in 2009 but we went reverse route. Beautiful scenery the whole trip. Will have to post some photographs.

When I was there, you needed a government permit to even visit White Island. I doubt any rentals there.

Great set Camera. We were supposed to be there in March and fortunately cancelled the trip in time to avoid getting stuck in quarantine.
