Online sales are great if a company can actually find a way of delivering their product. Buying from the USA at present is almost impossible due to no, or very limited, air transportation!
I'm still waiting for items purchased back in the early part of April. A number of these items have not even left the original point of the delivery system.

It is my understanding that B&H utilizes FedEx as the primary means of shipment. FedEx has its own comprehensive fleet of aircraft, trucks and smaller delivery vehicles.
Also most of the major US airlines are busy flying maximum loads in the belly holds and many have even converted passenger cabins to accommodate package cargo in lieu of passengers. The cargo shipments yield a good revenue stream for the airlines, especially with the extremely low fuel costs these days.

KEH? I thought this posting was about B&H? Am I mistaken?
Nope, just communicating the contrast.

B&H has mistreated there staff for years I have read. SNIP
You referenced a 2016 article most of which rehashed inaccurate reporting by other less reliable sources which said we'd been accused -- not true then, not true now.

That is really good as long as the FedEx / UPS / DHL depot is open BUT all are located in businesses that are currently shut down. It is a 1-1/2 hour drive to the nearest depot!

Use of the word "Contrast" suggests a difference between B&H and KEH,from your original post I fail to see one.

That's what they said about 47th St Photo in the 70s. Just sayin' Same for Olden, Cambridge, Garden, etc. - All gone now.
When I worked in Rockefeller Center in the 70s, 47th St Photo was one of my favorite places to visit. I even bought stuff from them and had it sent to my home in New Jersey to avoid the steep sales tax in NYC. Good memories. I am now a fan of B&H and I wish them well.

Shout out to B&H - I placed an order Monday, it shipped Tuesday, and just arrived on my doorstep today.
Thanks for the great service!

Thanks to all who expressed affection for B&H and respect for our furloughed workers. For the record, we closed our retail store on March 16th. It remains closed and we do not now have firm plans about reopening, although we're all eager to do so. Our offices are one block north of the store. Almost every office person has been working from home since mid-March, as I am right now. Our warehouse is in Florence NJ. It remains operational although we have taken, and continue to take, every possible step to insure worker health and safety. This includes closing Sundays for thorough cleaning and sterilization, increased social distance rules, etc. Quite a few office workers have volunteered to man an overnight shift there to clear our Passover backlog and get as many orders out to customers each day as possible.
Kmgw9v - I can check your order but I need the order number to do so.

Thanks for your post, Henry. I ordered a fisheye lens and a Leofoto tripod from your fine organization right after you reopened after Passover. Received the fisheye and now have it in a box to send to my daughter to play with. Just received word today that the tripod is on its way and is scheduled to arrive May 14--two days after I leave on the trip on which I had hoped to use it. Such is life--full of heartache and disappointment.
But not to worry. I will pick it up when I get back and will look forward to using it for years to come. Please accept and extend my best regards to all in your very fine organization. I hope B&H comes thru the current situation without suffering too much--either the organization or the very competent and friendly staff. Good luck. Lie low and stay safe.

I checked your bio page, don’t see anything there that shows you have a badge of any kind. Are you a secret posting cop or some such. Perhaps you were confidentially commissioned by Admin to police certain posts or posters. Inquiring minds want to know.

Maybe you should follow up. I ordered a lens over the weekend and it will be delivered today. It didn't get shipped until Tues which was not a surprise since I figured they were working short or very busy and working short. The lens is coming from NY to Oregon.
I just ordered a IRIX lens and just received a email from them saying
Hello David, we are doing our best to ship you the order, but we are having some delays because of the COVID19 situation.
We will include a 10% discount for any of the products in our web.
Your package should be shipped this Friday, I will send you the tracking number.
I hope you understand.
Thank you in advance.

Funny, as this tread was about shipping and B&H and yet you posted about political crap. Perhaps you should practice what you preach. You are like the pot calling the kettle black.
