I like it! I'm not familiar with Ansel Adams photos, though.

Beautiful, wide scene and it it nice to see you pointed northwest to include Mt. Moran. I always stop at that popular pullout and a few take photos, it is a terrific view of the Tetons.

Awesome B&W photo, Brenda. Great detail in download and download(+) if one wants to explore all that's been captured. Takes me back a few years when we rafted the Snake through the Tetons.

That is a great shot. You can't recreate his photo any longer because trees have grown in the spot where he captured his famous image. Personally, I think he planted them just for that reason.

With all this time on my hands I have been playing around with editing. I really like Ansel Adams' Black & White photos. While taking a photography class in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, our Instructor took us to this place. I did not want to capture the same photo as Ansel did, but I did shoot in the same area that he shot one of his photos at (I am not comparing myself to him, I just like his black & white photos) the angle is not the same as Ansel's shot, just the same area.

I would imagine this would look good in infra red. Lightroom has a IR preset which I have used with a raw file but I imagine it is not the same effect as taking image with an IR camera.

It's a beautiful image with lots to look at. I really admire the clarity throughout the image.

Ansel would approve, i'm sure; great photo. I may be wrong, but it may not be possible to even shoot from Ansel's viewpoint any more, as trees may have grown up to obscure the bend in the river where he took his photo.
