With all this time on my hands I have been playing around with editing. I really like Ansel Adams' Black & White photos. While taking a photography class in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, our Instructor took us to this place. I did not want to capture the same photo as Ansel did, but I did shoot in the same area that he shot one of his photos at (I am not comparing myself to him, I just like his black & white photos) the angle is not the same as Ansel's shot, just the same area.
Very nice capture. Unless I am mistaken, your shot was made by turning about 45 degrees to the right from the direction Ansel took his iconic shot. It's hard to point one's camera in any direction there without capturing a magnificent vista. I like your treatment and capture of the subject landscape a great deal. I will look forward to more of your posts.
