I've had good luck and bad with Wish. I will say this, though, if I didn't receive an item, I did get a refund for product and shipping. The wait times can be extremely long, an item that I ordered for my granddaughter supposedly got to the States on Feb. 08. I inquired about delivery several times since that date and finally asked for, and received a refund. It came in the mail 2 weeks ago.

I made the mistake of ordering the same light under a different brand name a year or so ago from Amazon. Unfortunately, I put it with the rest of my stuff and so never got around to trying it until two months later. It is not ETTL, so brightness must be controlled manually over a narrow range. Cutting to the chase, it’s a POS and a POJ. Use your imagination and don’t waste your money like I did. Ergo, don’t bother regardless of who’s selling it.

Definitely Chinese vendors. Long, long delivery times prior to virus. Now there's a good chance it will be stuck in China till they end "The Spring Holiday Festival" as they call it. Just stay away from Wish and AliBaba.

That "Wish" site looks goofy as .... (expletive). I personally will stick to Amazon for my goofy stuff - like that ring light. I also have the Neewer version (from Amazon!). It has very limited uses, IMHO. However, the reason I bought it was for a specific reason for my daughter's wedding where I was NOT the main photographer. I was free to just have fun!! So, I set up a black background and used the Ringlight on my MFT Olympus with a Sigma 30mm shooting mainly at F/1.4 for effect. Tight portraiture. The light, as I intended it to work, was perfect for my application.

I ordered mine from Amazon before the quarantine, and it arrived in about 12 hours. It works just fine, providing that you are not expecting the performance or construction quality pf a more expensive model. My only gripe is that the adaptor rings were not marked with the filter size, so I had to manually fit them to my lenses one-by-one, and them mark them myself.

I have ordered from Wish and have always received the items as described but takes forever to get here - up to 4 months in one case. ALWAYS way over the the promised delivery date. I have also looked at some of the electronics and found that often they are very cheap imitations of other products. The MP3 players and headphones especially low quality.

As some have identified previously, a good amount of brand names (like Andoer) sold via Wish can be found on Amazon for pretty much the same price with assured delivery dates. Tracking of packages is nearly impossible through China Post and customs will often hold for inspection. Not to mention its coming out of China and you have no idea what infections ride along ...

I have ordered from wish and it seemed cheap on the three items I receive. Not necessarily junk but seem inferior to top notch items. Would I order again? No! Sometimes you get what you pay for.

As it happens I bought this Neewer ring flash just last week from Amazon;

I bought it with two other items that would be delivered April 15 but the light wouldn't be delivered until May 3. When the package showed up midday last Wednesday the ring light was in it, 18 days early! Woohooo Amazon! Package was perfect and so was the light. It was more money, though.
Total for light was $30.29.

I spite of what the heading for the advertisement states (Ring Flash) what you purchased was a ring light, not a ring flash.

Just went to the link for wish.com. Didn't go past the sign-in/register page. The site has the look and feel of a Chinese outfit....a lot of junky stuff with pretty Asian and Anglo models.

Like other similar "businesses" I have experienced, what you get is likely not worth what you paid for it. If delivery time is a month, it's is most probably coming from China. And no recourse if not satisfied, except maybe paying return postage to China to get a refund.

For an electronic device, better buy from someplace domestic with a U.S. address, a good return policy, and contact info for customer service.

It both lights and flashes. You can use it either way. The 1/100 sync speed limits it. but for $28, you can learn to live with it.

I think it comes back to what did you want to do? What kind of pictures? Are they macro pictures? Do you need a continuous light source or a flash? Most cheap ring lights are made at a price with no concern for the light quality or color balance/temperature of the light. At $28 or $30 range, you aren't risking much money.

I need more light intensity and 5000K (daylight) color balance from my ring lights. That means a flash or a 10X more expensive continuous light source for my ring light.
