Continuing with my photographs of our fire department, here are a few photographs from a structure fire which occurred this past Thursday. No one was hurt.As I always try to capture the intensity of the moment as they risk their lives serving our community. I used a NIKON D5, 80mm-200.. 2.8 Af-s, ISO 650-1250; 1/500 sec @ 5.6 - 8. Your photos are like a perfect photojournalistic essay. Each one is excellent in its own way. I, like several of the other UHH members was a fireman in the Vietnam war and can relate to what you have photographed. I am glad that no one was injured and you have such beautiful photographs that show emotion, exhaustion, and expression. Thank you so much for sharing.

Wow! Busy photographs with lots of details, but muted with a composed focus. I can't see how doing them in color could have made them any better. You are privileged to be allowed to be there, close to the action. My hat is off to you.
