I like to read the newspaper deaths column in bed and only get up if my name's not there. Funny how people are still dying in alphabetical order?

I only have two thing to do each week. Thursday take the garbage out and Sunday go to church. And I get so excited on garbage day I get up at 6 a.m. so I don’t miss it.

Hi mr pentax man. Good words. I'm finishing up end of June been countkng down a long time. Fallen out of love with the workplace long ago. Plans to travel my own country witb my k30 and not have to scamper home because work on Monday. Probably not make any photos worth showing but plan a good time trying. My wife keeps track of her meds. time, supper prep time, and bed time for her, on her cell phone. works very well My body clock tells me when it is time to wake up, turn off TV and go potty and bed. LOL.

no fourlocks you are not alone to on this issue. I have several projects started but then put on the back burner oh well there's plenty of time to finish that job tomorrow or so I think anyway. I obviously lack self-discipline.

Retirement is great, no need to remember what day it is, sleep in if you want, eat when you get hungry, etc. I got up this morning and my wife asked. "What are you going to do today?" I replied, "Take it easy." Then she said, "You did that yesterday." And I responded, "I didn't finish yesterday."

When I was travelling I always had the hotel bring the local paper so I would know what day it was and what city I was in. Now that I'm retired, my only problem is I never get a day off.
