Those Pace Cars and Collector Editions are hard to compete with. At diff times I owned a C4 LT4 Collector Coupe, new, and later found a convertible version. The LT4’s were all Sebring Silver six-speeds. When my vision went south and I stopped driving, just stuck with auto versions for wife to drive. Fun hobby. I know you enjoy that C3 Pacer!

Exactly right there’s nothing like getting behind the wheel and hear about L-82 engine crank up

Any Corvette V-8 is musical magic to my ears.

Methinks all Corvette engines are V-8’s, except that one V-12 test mule at the NCM.

The first year, 1953 I think had the "blue flame" straight six cylinder mated to the 2 speed power glide transmission. I will have to find my Corvette book to check my statement. I think the original car was meant to gage aesthetic appeal then performance. It soon was replaced by the 265ci v 8 in 1955 and a manual transmission. The rest is history.

A good reference, from the beginning up to C-6.

That cover photo looks like the one I first rode in when I was 7yo during the Summer of 1957. It only took 53 years to achieve my dream.
