Great shot. I've been to Zion in all seasons, hiked in snow up to my knees (well, I am only 5'3"), waded through creeks and leaves, quaked on Angel's Landing trail (no, I didn't make it far - acrophobia), ducked under waterfalls, wore myself out on Observation Point trail, stood in awe at Court of the Patriarchs. We even found the hidden, never publicized petroglyphs, amazingly intact. Zion was my favorite place. Most of my images are film not yet converted to digital. I haven't been back since shuttling started. I have no desire to return to the despoilation of crowds.
My one regret was never getting to do the Subway. Weather conditions always got in the way.
Fantastic pano of Zion, Tom. Suggestion to others to explore it in Download(+). The detail is super!!!
I went there in 2018 in July 4 period. That was a major mistake ! Parking was a total zoo. It wasn’t long until we left the park, finding half the state was in attendance to hike. Whatever you do, don’t go there in a holiday period !
