Beautiful. Love the lighting

Thanks Rebecca. For me, light is the most important aspect. I am happiest when I can shoot early in the day
The yellow flowers are beautiful. If you keep taking pictures like that, you'll start giving Ed a run for his money!

Thank you for keeping me smiling these dark days, Jack.
I shot that (unknown-to-me name) while walking my dog around my apartment complex this morning. I would have passed it by if not for the light and shadows.
I sometimes wonder what neighbors think when I move to the non-sunny side of the tree out front so I can get backlit leaves and blossoms

I think you have found a new technique?
I don't know about what the neighbors think, but I say. . .

Beautiful, linda...you have a good eye for
"Delight".
Thank you all for your very lovely comments!
Linda,
Enjoy you and your pictures. #1 is a favorite for me. #2, the clipped leaf on the left instantly bothered me, like it also bothered you. I would have added more image area to the left of the leaf and perhaps cloned just a bit of the missing part of the leaf with the rest remaining black.
I don't 'live' on UHH. So, this is the first non landscape of yours that I'm seeing. And, I'm glad to see that you shoot more variety. You are a special treasure. Your comments and support for UHH and this space benefit everyone willing to pay attention and learn. Thanks,

Paul, I'm very appreciative of your praise; thank you!
I went back to see what was up on the left side. The "clip" is due to the leaf's being hidden behind blossoms which were out of focus and which I ultimately cropped and cloned out. Here is a quick bit of surgery to make what wasn't there
I'm sure there are small areas that can be cleaned up, but I can't see it very clearly at the moment because I'm facing a brightly lit balcony!
Again, thanks so much.

Very lovely, and delicately rendered. I'm a great fan of low-key photos.
