What to do during all this? Does anyone play corn hole in the summer. We discovered this last year and had a ball playing. Unfortunately, the set we got from Wal-Mart is a cheapy and half regulation size. So I thought I’d just order one off Amazon. They have lots, only they won’t ship it to Alaska. Well, I thought, why don’t I make a set and save some money. Well, nearly $200.00 later, I’ve spent nearly twice as much as I would have if I’d been able to get the one from Amazon, but I had fun doing this with my son-in-law. We did the board yesterday, and today we’ll assemble the frame and legs and attach the board. We still have to stain the board and clear coat it. These are quick snaps with the iPhone, just for record during yesterday’s part of the project. I though it turned out quite well.

Beautiful! You should go into production on these! Better looking than most I've seen. The country club I work for recently bought a number of these and paid quite a bit for them. If you bought your materials in bulk you could probably get the price down to about 80.00 per set and sell them for around 250.00. Even if you only made one set a day, that would be a nice income for someone retired (don't know if you are retired). You could personalize them with initials or logos. There are companies that will make custom logos that have a backing that peels off which you could apply and then clear coat. Market them to country clubs with their logos, clubs, and retirement communities. They are well accepted and you will find a market for them.
