John, it would seem the press is...well the press. They are selling advert space and the way to do that is to have your reports read. Death sells. What is interesting is to compare the stats of Covid-19 with other diseases and other mortality rates. By comparison, Covid-19 is a piker. The other aspect that the press seems to overlook is the number of people who have recovered. These stats aren't difficult to find, The press just feels the number of deaths is a hotter commodity to sell.

We don't know what the final numbers for Covid-19 will be. We all hope it won't be in six figures like the experts predict, and have even convinced Trump of. What do you think the stats would be without the social isolation? Especially since it can be spread by unsymptomatic people.
I love your 4th and last. But all are well done.

You could always find or do something creative at home if you don't try too hard.
Pool table and a fridge of cold ones...

So far it seems most states are keeping their state parks open. They encourage people to get out, but keep their distance from others. Try it, it my ease your worrying.

Unfortunately all our state parks and beaches have been closed. But...we still have Brookgreen Gardens (google it) open. They even reduced their entry fee to $10 for a seven day pass. It is simply awesome!
I went yesterday. The museums are closed but it covers over 91 thousand acres. It is one of the best public gardens in the US. Not just flowers but sculptures, small zoo, and plenty of wildlife to be seen in the park and along the river bank.
But we are definitely self distancing and a lot of us are wearing masks when out.
I will be glad when it is all over. Unfortunately, because we are a tourist destination, people are coming here from NY and Northeastern states to visit 'family'. So our virus cases are climbing. All hotels and short term rentals are supposed to be shut down, including vrbo. But visiting 'family' is ok. Supposed to self quarantine if from hotbeds but I only know of one who is actually doing that. 😢

That's too bad. I guess too many people still wanted to hang out in groups.
I'm hanging with the birds around the house. But if I don't get some more peanut butter they may go elsewhere.
Half of Bombay Hook NWR will be closed for a while, first the front, then the rear. This was already planned for road paving. When it reopens it will get busy as the big (very big) potholes were keeping people away. I vote to keep the potholes.
Be well!

Thanks Dennis. I'll take credit for the composition. Most of the credit for the color goes to Mother Nature, although I did fertilize the lawn.

I don't believe any government sources are prohibiting anyone from taking walks infect I think it is encouraged as long as social distancing is followed. It is actually very good for people mentally to be out in the fresh air
Technically I did have to go outside but just on my deck.
My first attempt at posting a pic on UHH; hope I am doing it right.
And there's always the kids in the yard.
